Madiun - PT Industri Kereta Api or PT INKA conducted a trial of its Jabodetabek Electric Rail Train on the Solo-Yogyakarta route, which was ordered by PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia or KAI Commuter.
Senior Manager of Public Relations and Representative Office of PT INKA Nuur Aisyah in her statement in Madiun, Saturday said the trial was carried out from Tugu Station Yogyakarta to Klaten Station round trip (PP) on Friday, March 21, 2025. The trial was also reviewed directly by Deputy Minister of SOEs Kartika Wirjoatmodjo.
"Testing of the KRL on the Solo-Yogyakarta route is one of the stages that must be carried out by PT INKA (Persero) to ensure the operational reliability of the facilities," said Aisyah.
According to him, the testing of the Jabodetabek KRL facilities on the Solo-Yogyakarta route was aimed at ensuring the readiness of the facilities to operate optimally, before continuing testing on the Jabodetabek route.
He explained that the testing of the KRL facilities produced by PT INKA (Persero) had been carried out from March 16 to 20, 2025 with several stages of testing. Starting with setting parameters and continuing with a road test (dynamic test) from Solo Jebres Station - Lempuyangan Station (PP).
