Surabaya - PSIS Semarang is ambitious to steal points and achieve positive results when visiting Persebaya Surabaya's headquarters in the 27th week of the 2024/2025 Indonesian League 1 match at the Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium, Wednesday (12/3).
"The preparation is always the same, we look for the best way to get points. But we know Persebaya is having a very good season," said PSIS Semarang coach Gilbert Agius during a pre-match press conference in Surabaya, Tuesday.
He also appreciated Persebaya coach Paul Munster who managed to improve the team's performance after experiencing pressure in previous weeks.
"Congratulations to coach Paul, he was under a lot of pressure a few weeks ago, but he managed to turn it all around. I'm happy for him," he said.
Although PSIS has not won in the last five matches, he admitted that this condition is less than ideal, but he remains optimistic that his team can recover.
