Pelita Jaya coach confirms McLaughlin will play for BCL Asia

Jakarta - Pelita Jaya Jakarta coach Johannis Winar confirmed that Jaquori McLaughlin will play when his team enters the group phase of the Basketball Champions League Asia competition, which will start next week.

Pelita Jaya is the only Indonesian team that plays in two competitions. The first is the Indonesian Basketball League (IBL), and the next is the BCL Asia.

"For BCL, of course McLaughlin will definitely play. It's the same as IBL, three imported (players), two on the field, one on the bench. We have to see in the future, whether there are any injured players, or how we still don't know, but of course he will definitely play, the other two will depend on our last game later," said the coach who is familiarly called Ahang at a press conference after the IBL match against Bima Perkasa Yogyakarta at the Soemantri Bodjonegoro Student Arena (GMSB), Jakarta, Wednesday.

"If Jaquori is injured now, then there is a possibility of (Jerome Anthony) Beane, there is KJ (McDaniels), there is JD (James Dickey III), later we have to see what the situation is in the next game," he continued.
