Jakarta - The Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency is monitoring train locomotive depots and a number of gas stations in the Central Java region during the peak homecoming flow on Friday or D-3 of Eid 2025.
BPH Migas Committee Member Iwan Prasetya Adhi in his statement in Jakarta, Friday, said that BPH Migas continues to monitor a number of energy infrastructures throughout the country in order to maintain stock resilience and smooth distribution of fuel oil (BBM).
"The government is fully committed to serving the public during this Eid homecoming flow, especially in the energy sector for travelers in Central Java and its surroundings," he said while visiting the Semarang Poncol Train Locomotive Depot in Semarang, Central Java, Wednesday (26/3).
Iwan added that the fuel supply for trains crossing the Semarang area was not hampered and was sufficient.
The services of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) Operational Area (DAOP) 4 Semarang are also running smoothly and normally.
"At the peak of the homecoming flow, the KAI DAOP 4 Semarang team has increased the number of passenger trains during the Lebaran Task Force period from March 17 to April 12, 2025. It is ensured that the fuel supply is sufficient and safe for all passengers," he added.
When monitoring the availability of fuel at gas stations 44.59504 Demak and gas stations 44.59315 Kudus, Iwan said that based on the monitoring results, it was found that the supply of fuel for the community and those passing through Central Java was in a maintained condition.
"We have just checked the gas stations located on the northern coast of Java and the fuel stock is safe. Services to the public are also running smoothly and normally," he said.
