Jakarta - The Indonesian Internet Domain Name Manager revealed that the digital forum to be held in May will be able to provide input related to the digital ecosystem.
The forum, which was held in collaboration with the Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association and the Indonesian Telecommunications Association , is expected to provide answers to the problems faced by each player involved in digital infrastructure, which are also experienced by the related associations.
"We are made up of each of these associations, of course we also have our own challenges. So how can we, between various perspectives, provide insight into what they are facing in implementing and organizing their respective services," said PANDI Chairman John Sihar Simanjuntak in Jakarta, Wednesday.
He also revealed that PANDI also experienced obstacles in terms of domain growth. Another thing is that this forum is also expected to be able to provide positive contributions in the form of input for the government in formulating regulations.
With good collaboration between parties including the government, business actors, associations and the government are able to produce harmonious policies and boost Indonesia's digital economy.
"So hopefully this forum is not just for chatting, but also has benefits for improving progress in both regulation and the economy," he also said.
ATSI General Chair Mega Fachys added that to realize Indonesia's ideals that are based on the economy, it is necessary to look further into the obstacles that could disrupt Indonesia's economic development.
