Pamekasan - The Pamekasan District Government stated that it intends to repair the Gelora Madura Ratu Pamelingan Stadium in accordance with the recommendations of the world football body FIFA so that the stadium can be used for world-class matches.
"One of the recommendations that FIFA conveyed to us so that this stadium meets international standards is the completeness of supporting facilities in the spectator stands," said Acting Pamekasan Regent Masrukin in Pamekasan, East Java, Tuesday.
One important note from FIFA is that there is no adequate evacuation route despite the extraordinary conditions.
