Pablo satisfied with Dewa United's defense losing to Pacific

Surabaya - Dewa United Banten coach Pablo Favarel admitted that he was satisfied with his team's increasingly solid defensive performance in the second half of their 92-75 win over Pacific Caesar Surabaya.

"We started slowly, but in the second half, our focus was better. That was the key, our defense improved," said Pablo during a press conference after the 2025 IBL match at Gor Pacific Caesar Surabaya, East Java, Friday night.

According to Pablo, his team's success in limiting the movement of Pacific Caesar's key players was the main factor in his team winning this match.

He gave an example of how his team was able to hold off Miranda who could only score three points in the second half, making it difficult for the hosts to score.

In addition, he continued, Pacific Caesar also only scored 30 points after halftime, which showed that his team was effective in defense.
