Beijing - More than 300 domestic and foreign companies have registered to participate in the third China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), China's trade promotion agency announced on Friday (28/2).
The expo kicked off its global roadshow activities in January and has so far held promotional events and roadshows in 12 countries and regions, including Vietnam, Switzerland, South Africa and the United Arab Emirates Yang Fan, spokesperson for the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade said at a press conference.Foreign companies and institutions have shown great enthusiasm to participate and visit the expo, he said, anticipating an increase in the number of participants this year, especially from overseas groups and businesses, for visits and exchanges.The expo recorded more than 200,000 visits last year, CCPIT data showed.This year's expo, scheduled to be held in Beijing from July 16-20, will occupy a total exhibition area of 120,000 square meters.As the world's first national-level expo focused on supply chains, the China International Supply Chain Expo is a public product that can be shared internationally. First held in 2023, the expo contributes to building a safer, more stable, open and inclusive global supply chain and industry, according to CCPIT.
