Jakarta - The Ministry of Tourism has appealed to all tourism industry players to prepare mitigation measures to anticipate potential crowding at favorite tourist destinations and weather changes, especially in disaster-prone areas ahead of the 2025 Eid holiday season.
"The Ministry of Tourism as a whole anticipates the situation, let's say the unexpected. Previously, the Ministry of Tourism issued a Circular of the Minister of Tourism on the implementation of safe, comfortable, and enjoyable tourism throughout Indonesia," said Deputy for Destination and Infrastructure Development of the Ministry of Tourism, Hariyanto in an official statement in Jakarta, Friday.
Hariyanto said the ministry has issued an Appeal Letter from the Deputy for Destination and Infrastructure Development regarding risk assessments to anticipate destinations, especially those with high vulnerability, to be able to prepare their destinations.
