Jakarta - The Ministry of Tourism predicts that Jakarta will remain busy with tourists, especially those from within the country, during the Eid holiday, namely because of easy access and a variety of interesting tourist destinations.
"This year, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government also created a program, how to make Jakarta not deserted. But from the last few, because there are toll roads, there are surveys that prove that with the toll roads, Jakarta is not like before when it was deserted during Eid," said Deputy for Marketing of the Ministry of Tourism Ni Made Ayu Marthini in a press conference in Jakarta, Monday.
Made said that during the Eid holiday, many big cities were deserted by people who chose to return to their hometowns in different areas.
Just like this year, the Ministry of Tourism predicts that at least more than 140 million people will travel to take part in the Eid homecoming.
Moreover, there is additional relief for workers to Work from Anywhere (WFA/work from anywhere).
For the tourism sector, this is very helpful in turning around the economy and increasing a region's income.
