Jakarta - Minister of Transportation Dudy Purwagandhi together with Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Erick Thohir released the departure of homecoming buses, including buses for the disabled, in the BUMN Free Homecoming program to support the smooth flow of the 2025 Eid homecoming.
"This is a very good activity, which we always support from the Ministry of Transportation," said the Minister of Transportation accompanied by the Minister of SOEs Erick Thohir, when releasing the departure of the BUMN Free Homecoming bus series, at the Gelora Bung Karno Complex, Jakarta, Thursday.
There were 85 buses that were released for departure, among the group, there were buses for the disabled and electric buses.
Through this program, the Minister of Transportation hopes that the implementation of Eid transportation can run well, providing comfort for travelers from the time they depart, arrive at their destination, and then return.
The Minister of Transportation also appreciated a number of BUMNs that participated in implementing the Free Homecoming program.
According to him, the program helps ease the burden on travelers in carrying out activities returning to their respective hometowns.
"From year to year I see that there is a change in the increasing enthusiasm of the public to participate in this free homecoming program," said the Minister of Transportation.
