Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources asks Pertamina to improve LPG consumption-storage ratio

Banjarbaru - Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia asked PT Pertamina to improve the ratio between consumption levels and storage of subsidized 3 kilogram Liquefied Petroleum Gas .

"After reviewing the storage of subsidized LPG in South Kalimantan Province, I saw that the consumption of 3-kilogram LPG in this province was 555 metric tons, while the storage area was only around 16 thousand metric tons," said Bahlil while reviewing the 3-kilogram LPG base in Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan, Wednesday, (19/3).

He said that this ratio is unhealthy, and if it is not improved, it will affect the energy security program initiated by President Prabowo.

"However, I am quite happy because in Kalimantan the impact of the LPG arrangement has not had much of an impact, I see it as quite good," said Minister Bahlil.

Bahlil also ensured that the government would implement a policy of weighing LPG before distribution, this is to ensure the accuracy of the LPG weight.

He emphasized that there must be scales, so that people can weigh them before carrying them, so that they get what they deserve according to the applicable price.
