Jakarta - Minister of Communication and Digital Meutya Hafid emphasized that the provisions regarding sanctions regulated in the Government Regulation on the Governance of Electronic System Implementation in Child Protection (PP Tunas) are not aimed at parents and children.
The provisions related to sanctions, Meutya continued, are aimed at digital platforms operating in Indonesia.
"This PP does not impose sanctions on parents or children, but rather sanctions on platforms," said the Minister of Communication and Digital during a press conference after the launch of PP Tunas at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Friday.
The platforms that Meutya mentioned include social media, online games , and other digital platforms.
"This area is affected by all PSEs, electronic system organizers.
