Jakarta - Minister of Communication and Digital Meutya Hafid welcomed the presence of the cellular operator company entity resulting from the merger of XL Axiata and Smartfren, namely XL Smart, and asked that services from the cellular operator (opsel) be increasingly optimal for the public.
"We hope that the most important thing from this merger is that the quality of service must be better. Then other services, customer service must be better, the quality of the network must also be better," said Meutya in an intercept interview after reviewing the quality of telecommunications services for the 2025 Eid Homecoming at Gambir Station, Jakarta, Wednesday.
With the presence of the new entity XLSmart, Meutya asked for the company's commitment as a telecommunications service provider to maintain its commitment to building digital infrastructure so that it can participate in equalizing connectivity in Indonesia.
