Jakarta - Minister of Digital Communications Meutya Hafid emphasized that the digitalization of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) must be accompanied by strengthening Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) so that the creative potential of the nation's children can develop more optimally.
"This is the right time to show the power of our local work. IPR protection is not only about legality, but also how we appreciate the creativity of the nation's children. I want to see more Indonesian MSME products go global with pride," said Meutya in a press release, Tuesday.
He conveyed this after an audience with the President's Special Envoy for MSMEs, Creative Economy, and Digital, Ahmad Ridha Sabana, at the Kemkomdigi Head Office, Jakarta, Tuesday.
Digitalization of MSMEs continues to be the government's main focus to increase the competitiveness of local business actors.
