Microsoft shares tips to prevent phishing traps during the 2025 Eid homecoming season

Jakarta - Ahead of the 2025 Eid homecoming, there is no doubt that various transactions will increase rapidly, including digital transactions, and caution is needed against the threat of phishing or online fraud that impersonates certain parties.In a press release from Microsoft in Jakarta, Friday, one of the phishing that may occur during the Eid homecoming season is related to travel agencies whose services are widely used during holiday moments.Referring to data from the Indonesian Digital Consumer Institute, the increase in the number of phishing case reports occurred by 30 percent during the month of Ramadan, especially before Eid, compared to normal condition.
