Jakarta - The Director General of Digital Infrastructure at the Ministry of Communication and Digital Wayan Toni Supriyanto said that there would be a portion of spectrum that would be returned after the merger between cellular operators XL Axiata and Smartfren.
"(The spectrum that is returned) has a bandwidth of 7.5 MHz from the 900 MHz frequency, that is what is held by XL and will be returned," said Wayan when met at the Ministry of Communication and Digital Office, Jakarta, Thursday.
Wayan said the merger between the two new cellular operators could only be declared complete after being announced through a General Meeting of Shareholders .
