Jakarta - The Ministry of Communication and Digital confirmed that the National Data Center project in Batam will continue and the government is currently conducting a study regarding partners who will be involved in the development of this digital infrastructure.
"Of course, the development will continue. We will decide with whom we will decide together in the government. But indeed the plan is to continue building data centers in various regions, including in that region," said Minister of Communication and Digital Meutya Hafid at the Ministry of Communication and Digital Office, Jakarta, Thursday.
In terms of the construction of PDN in Batam, it was previously reported on Tuesday (4/2) through a working meeting of the Ministry of Communication and Digital with Commission I of the Indonesian House of Representatives at the Indonesian House of Representatives Building, Jakarta, that the construction of PDN Batam was not continued because the cooperation contract with the partner from South Korea was not continued.
