IDAI shares tips to keep children healthy during homecoming trips

Jakarta - The Indonesian Pediatrician Association has shared useful tips for parents to keep their children healthy during the Eid homecoming trip.

"Going home for Eid is an annual tradition that many families look forward to, but long trips can increase children's health risks. Factors such as changes in weather, irregular eating patterns, and fatigue can trigger various health problems in children," said IDAI General Chair Piprim Basarah Yanuarso when contacted by ANTARA in Jakarta, Monday.

Piprim said that during the homecoming trip, children are susceptible to various health problems. For example, experiencing dehydration, getting an Upper Respiratory Tract Infection (URTI), digestive disorders, motion sickness to fever or infection due to fatigue and decreased immunity.
