Cirebon - Cirebon City Police stated that the homecoming flow on the North Coast Route in Cirebon, West Java, on D-3 of Eid 2025 increased by 35 percent compared to the previous day.
Cirebon City Police Chief AKBP Eko Iskandar in Cirebon, Friday, said the spike in the number of vehicles was dominated by two-wheeled travelers traveling from Jakarta to Central Java via the Pantura Route.
"Today, there has been a general increase in traffic of 35 percent, dominated by two-wheeled travelers heading east," he said.
He explained that the increase in homecoming traffic was seen from the high volume of vehicles passing through the Pantura route. However, overall traffic conditions can still be controlled well.
According to Eko, the arterial roads and toll roads leading to Central Java are currently still running smoothly despite the surge in the number of homecoming travelers.
