Jakarta - Hartadinata Abadi Tbk. (HRTA), a jewelry and gold bullion manufacturing and trading company, stated that it is ready to support the bullion ecosystem or gold bank in Indonesia.
Hartadinata Abadi Investor Relations Director Thendra Crisnanda said that Indonesia is the 7th largest gold producer in the world with an average production of 130 tons per year. However, Indonesia actually imports gold up to two billion US dollars per year.
"With the bullion bank , Indonesia can reduce its dependence on gold imports and utilize domestic gold reserves for the benefit of the national economy," said Thendra during a media activity in Jakarta, Wednesday (12/3).
