Jakarta - Google has again added interesting features to Gemini as its generative artificial intelligence service, one of which is called Audio Overview which can now summarize text documents into a unique cast form.
This feature was introduced after many users took advantage of it on the NotebookLM service.
"We've seen a lot of positive feedback about Audio Overview in NotebookLM, helping people understand complex information. Today we're making Audio Overview available in Gemini as well," Gemini Apps Senior Director of Product Management Dave Citron said in a blog post on Tuesday (3/18).
Audio Overview can transform documents, presentations, and even in-depth research reports into podcast-style audio discussions that make them easy to understand.
