Jakarta - A former police officer with the initials DTK (45) was arrested by the police on suspicion of trying to extort public transportation drivers around Tanah Abang Station and after being examined, the person in question tested positive for drug use.
When arrested, the person in question claimed to be a member of the National Police and was carrying a lighter shaped like a gun.
"After being checked, it turned out that the former member had been given a PTDH (Dishonorable Discharge) in 2012," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Senior Commissioner of Police Susatyo Purnomo Condro in Jakarta, Tuesday.
According to him, DTK was secured by the masses at the JakLingko Angkot Base at Tanah Abang KAI Station, Central Jakarta, on Monday (10/3) at around 19.00 WIB.
