Jakarta - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government will increase the quota for recipients of the Jakarta Elderly Card social assistance in 2026.
"Next year I will ask the Social Service to also increase it more than that because the budget has to be shifted and so on," said DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung at the KH Hasyim Asy'ari Grand Mosque, Cengkareng, West Jakarta, Saturday.
The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has increased the number of KLJ recipients for phase I in 2025. From the initial 135,140 recipients, this year the social assistance will be distributed to 171,010 elderly citizens.
