Jakarta - Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives Cucun Ahmad Syamsurijal reminded companies to immediately pay holiday allowances to their workers, especially since the government has issued the 2025 Eid incentive policy.
"The many incentives from the government issued through President Prabowo Subianto's policies are certainly very helpful for the community whose needs will definitely increase during the holidays," said Cucun as quoted from his official statement received in Jakarta, Thursday.
It is known that President Prabowo has issued a number of encouraging policies for the public ahead of the 2025 Eid homecoming season, such as toll rate discounts and reduced airline ticket prices.
For people who plan to return to their hometowns using land and air transportation, the government is providing a 20 percent discount on toll road rates on various toll roads in Indonesia.
In addition to providing incentives for land travel, the government has also officially provided a 13-14 percent discount on domestic economy class airfares.
The President issued a policy of providing several incentives to ease the burden on people who want to gather with their families during Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijriah. Cucun also agreed that the provision of incentives from the government can make people's homecoming trips run smoothly, safely, and comfortably.
"The policy of discounted airline tickets, toll road tariff cuts, and free homecoming programs directed by President Prabowo are very appropriate amidst the current challenging economic conditions," said the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Coordinator for People's Welfare.
