Madiun - PT KAI Daop 7 Madiun, East Java is making various efforts to ensure the reliability of safe and comfortable facilities in facing the 2025 Eid transportation period which will take place from March 21 to April 11.
"Efforts to create safe facilities are carried out by conducting detailed inspections and checks on the undercarriage, boggies, train assembly tools, braking tools, and safety equipment on the train," said KAI Daop 7 Madiun Public Relations Manager Rokhmad Makin Zainul, in his statement in Madiun, Tuesday.
According to him, to ensure the condition of reliable and operationally worthy facilities, his party together with the railway regulator and the Class I Surabaya Railway Engineering Center (BTP) have also conducted a ramp check on the readiness of facilities in the Daop 7 Madiun area.
The focus is on checking the cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the train, the electrical system including AC and audio - video, passenger seats, and the condition of the toilet. On the locomotive, officers also perform maintenance and inspections on components and ensure they function and are technically appropriate. Officers will also conduct detailed inspections on engine parts, air systems, oil, fuel, electricity, and mechanics.
