Semarang - Central Java Governor Ahmad Luthfi ensured that the "Jateng Agro Berdikari KM 445 B Rest Area" owned by the Central Java Provincial Government on the Solo-Semarang toll road is ready to serve travelers during the 2025 Eid homecoming flow.
"The facilities are complete, and ready to welcome the return flow," he said, on the sidelines of the inauguration of the "Rest Area Jateng Agro Berdikari KM 445 B", in Semarang Regency, Friday.
The Type A rest area owned by the Central Java Provincial Government is managed by the Central Java Agro Berdikari BUMD so that with the inauguration of the service, it is ready to be used to serve travelers for Eid 2025.
The rest area located in Semarang Regency has complete facilities, ranging from gas stations, SPKLU (Public Electric Vehicle Charging Stations), mosques, toilets, police security posts, ATMs, to outlets for various culinary delights.
Luthfi said that the "rest area" is ready to welcome the return flow because it is on route B, namely the toll road from Solo to Semarang or Jakarta.
Although emphasizing service, he said, the "rest area" is also targeted to gain profits so that it can be deposited into the regional original income (PAD).
"The target of BUMD is to be able to increase PAD," said the former Central Java Police Chief.
On that occasion, he reminded that stalls selling culinary delights should not take advantage of the opportunity when serving customers.
Therefore, he said, the price list must be displayed so that it can be understood by potential buyers who stop by.
Because, there are many food products and souvenirs from Central Java that are displayed in the "rest area", such as salted eggs, soto food, and martabak.
Meanwhile, the Business Director of BUMD Jateng Agro Berdikari Gerry Grefisanto said that the "rest area" was built on eight hectares of land.
