Jakarta - Bayern Munich's progress in moving away from their rivals at the top of the German League standings was slightly hampered after being held to a 1-1 draw by hosts Union Berlin on Saturday (15/3).
The Bavarian team remains at the top of the standings with a collection of 62 points, while Union is in 13th position with a collection of 27 points.
Bayern's failure to pick up three points was maximized by second-placed Bayer Leverkusen. Xabi Alonso's team reduced the gap on Bayern to six points, thanks to a 4-3 win at VfB Stuttgart's home on Monday (17/3) early morning WIB.
Third-placed Mainz failed to continue their four-game winning streak in the 26th week of the Bundesliga, after they were held to a 2-2 draw by visitors Freiburg on Saturday (3/15). Mainz remain in that position with a collection of 45 points, while Freiburg are in sixth place with 42 points.
