Jakarta - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk ensures the readiness and reliability of electronic channel services to support smooth public transactions ahead of the long holiday period of Lebaran 2025 or Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijriah.
BRI Retail Funding and Distribution Director Andrijanto, through his official statement in Jakarta, Friday, said that e-channel readiness is a strategic step to ensure smooth transactions for the public during the Eid holiday.
"Lebaran is a period with high transaction intensity, including when people travel home. BRI ensures the reliability of e-channels to support smooth transactions, so that people can transact safely and comfortably wherever they are," said Andrijanto.
By December 2024, BRI has issued more than 4.1 million BRI QRIS to facilitate digital transactions. In addition, more than 330 thousand electronic data capture (EDC) units have been operated in various strategic locations, ensuring the convenience of non-cash transactions for travelers and people celebrating Eid.
To further strengthen access to financial services during the Eid holiday period, BRI also operates more than 10 thousand automated teller machines (ATMs) and 9 thousand cash recycling machines (CRMs) spread throughout Indonesia.
This network ensures the availability of easily accessible transaction services, so that people can freely make withdrawals, deposits, and various other transactions during their homecoming trip and Eid celebrations.
