Bali Governor targets infrastructure development completion in 2028

Badung, Bali - Bali Governor Wayan Koster is targeting the construction of a number of infrastructures, some of which are in collaboration with district and city governments, to be completed by 2028.

"This program (infrastructure development) must be completed by 2028 at the latest, at worst it must be completed by 2029, we share the tasks," he said in Badung, Bali, Thursday.

In his second term, Koster designed a number of infrastructures, some of which used collaborative funds between the Bali Provincial Government and the district/city governments.

"(The restoration of) Besakih Temple was (done) by the province, Batur Temple parking was done by the province, Sanur Harbor parking was shared by the province with Denpasar, Jimbaran Underpass Road and Gatot Subroto-Canggu were fully funded by Badung, then Tohpati Underpass was shared by the province and Denpasar, so everyone got a share," he said.

Koster admitted that he had discussed this target, especially with the Badung Regency Government and Denpasar City Government because they were involved in financing.
