Jakarta - Bahrain National Team goalkeeper Sayed Mohammed Jaffer is quite optimistic that his team will be able to overcome the resistance of the host Indonesia in the third round match of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers in the Asian zone which will take place at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Jakarta, on Tuesday (25/3).
Jaffer believes his team has made a lot of progress since the last meeting with Indonesia in October 2024.
"The progress from the last match against Indonesia until now is huge for our team. And this gives us more confidence and a bigger chance to win this match," Jaffer said when met before undergoing team training at Field A, Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium Complex, Jakarta, Sunday.
