Jakarta - Arsenal secured their place in the quarter-finals of the 2024/25 Champions League despite drawing 2-2 against PSV Eindhoven in the second leg of the last 16 at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday morning WIB.The Gunners qualified with a 9-3 aggregate after a landslide 7-1 win over PSV in the first leg on Wednesday (5/3) last week.In the second leg, Arsenal opened the scoring through Oleksandr Zinchenko and were equalized by Ivan Perisic. Declan Rice put the hosts ahead again before PSV replied through Couhaib Driouech's goal.In the quarter-finals, Arsenal will face the winner between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid which went into extra time.Oleksandr Zinchenko had already given Arsenal a 1-0 lead in the 6th minute. The goal was scored through a shot from outside the penalty box.PSV equalized the score to 1-1 in the 18th minute through Ivan Perisic's shot inside the penalty box after receiving the ball from Johan Bakayoko.The Dutch club almost turned the lead around two minutes later. Couhaib Driouech's shot was parried with difficulty by David Raya.
