Jakarta - Apple is reportedly going to introduce a live - translate feature to AirPods as part of a software update to be released later this year.
As reported by Engadget on Saturday, this feature allows AirPods to translate conversations directly without the need for voice commands from virtual assistants such as Siri.
Compared to a similar feature on Google's Pixel Buds that requires users to ask Google Assistant to listen to a specific language, AirPods are said to automatically detect if someone is speaking a foreign language and instantly translate it into a language the user understands.
