Apple delays more advanced Siri updates

Jakarta - Apple's promise to make its Siri smart assistant feature more personalized has apparently taken a little more time than expected and forced it to delay its launch.

"We've been working on a more personal Siri, giving it more awareness of your personal context, as well as the ability to take actions for you within and across your apps," wrote company spokesperson Jacqueline Roy, as quoted by The Verge, Saturday (8/3) local time.

“It will take longer than we anticipated to deliver these features, and we anticipate launching them next year,” he added.

When Apple introduced Apple Intelligence at WWDC last year, they showed off advanced features like Siri understanding your personal context and being able to take action based on what’s displayed on your screen.
