Jakarta - Deputy Minister of Cooperatives Ferry Juliantono assessed that the Al-Ittifaq Islamic Boarding School Cooperative (Kopontren) in Bandung Regency, West Java could be used as a model for the establishment of the Merah Putih Village Cooperative (Kopdes).
This assessment was conveyed when Ferry directly reviewed the Al-Ittifaq Kopontren facilities, including the greenhouse and warehouse for fruit and vegetable agricultural products, in Ciburial Village, Alamendah, Bandung Regency, Tuesday.
"This is a good example that can be used as a training and internship place for administrators and managers of the Merah Putih Village Cooperative," he said in a written statement.
According to Ferry, Kopontren Al-Ittifaq has good governance, both in terms of institutional organization and business governance. Therefore, this Kopontren will be used as a place of learning, training, and internship for the management of the Red and White Village Cooperative.
