Airport Authority tests the feasibility of 2025 Eid transport aircraft in Bali

Badung - The Bali Region IV Airport Authority Office has begun conducting ramp checks or airworthiness tests on aircraft that will be used for Eid 2025 transportation.

"The first phase was carried out on March 20-22 with 12 aircraft, the second phase on March 23-25, then later the third phase," said Head of the Otban Region IV Office Cecep Kurniawan during the opening of the Lebaran Transportation Post in Badung Regency, Friday.

He said that in Bali, namely I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, 12 aircraft will be inspected.

Meanwhile, the total in its working area, namely Bali, Lombok, Kupang, and Labuan Bajo, is around 30 aircraft.

"Not all at once but divided into several phases, we check randomly according to statistical theory, approximately 10 percent of the total aircraft that will depart from the airport," said Cecep.

He believes that the collection of a number of aircraft samples has represented all airlines that will be used during the 2025 Eid momentum.

So far, of the 12 test samples including those inspected in Bali, they are said to be in good condition and meet the requirements for carrying passengers.

" This ramp check is not only carried out here, we also communicate with aircraft from Cengkareng, we communicate with fellow inspectors at the Airport Authority Region I regarding the condition of this ramp check ," he said.
