Bekasi - PT Jasamarga Jalanlayang Cikampek recorded that 55,377 vehicles left Jakarta via the Mohamed Bin Zayed (MBZ) Flyover towards the Trans Java Toll Road on D-4 of Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijri or March 27, 2025.
GM of Operations and Maintenance of PT Jasamarga Jalanlayang Cikampek Desti Anggraeni stated that the spike in vehicle traffic volume was the peak of the Eid homecoming flow this year, although it is projected to continue until Saturday (29/3).
"This significant spike is an increase of 145.88 percent compared to normal traffic of 22,522 vehicles," he said in Bekasi, Friday.
He said, since the homecoming flow took place on D-10 to D-4 of Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijriah, 275,419 vehicles were recorded as leaving Jakarta via the MBZ Flyover.
"There was an increase of 58.18 percent from normal traffic of 174,120 vehicles," he said.
He appealed to toll road users who cross the MBZ Flyover Section to always prioritize safety by preparing themselves before traveling.
