Jakarta - The Cameroon national team was held to a draw, while the Tunisian national team won in the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers for the African zone, Thursday early morning WIB, according to CAF records.
Cameroon were only able to play with a score of 0-0 in the Group D match of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers in the African zone when they visited Eswatini's headquarters at the Mbombela Stadium, Mbombela, South Africa.
Despite only getting a draw, Cameroon is still firmly at the top of Group D with nine points from five matches, but their position could potentially be overtaken by Libya, Cape Verde or Libya.
On the other hand, the draw was Eswatini's first point but it did not move them from the bottom position with one point from five games.
Statistically, Cameroon actually appeared dominant, having 65 percent possession of the ball and taking a total of 12 shots, but none of them produced results.
Meanwhile, Tunisia managed to secure a narrow 1-0 win over Liberia in the Group H match at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex Stadium, Paynesville, Liberia.
In this match, Tunisia's victory over Liberia came thanks to a quick goal scored by Hazem Mastouri when the match had only been going on for four minutes.
