Jakarta - Google announced the extension of the availability of Paramount content on YouTube TV after warning that Paramount content would soon disappear from their pay TV service.
"We are pleased to share that we have reached an agreement to continue to carry Paramount channels, including CBS, CBS Sports, Nickelodeon, and more...," was among the contents of Google's announcement as quoted by TechCrunch on Sunday (16/2).
"To our customers, we appreciate your patience as we negotiate on your behalf," Google said in its announcement.
The announcement didn't include many specific details about the deal, but a Paramount spokesperson said the deal includes expanded streaming service partnerships.
YouTube Primetime Channels will continue to provide BET+ and Paramount+ streaming services with Showtime as an addition.
