This season, ATP is implementing video review at all Masters 1000 tournaments.

Jakarta - The Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) announced that it will implement video review technology on every court at nine ATP Masters 1000 tournaments starting in 2025.

Based on the official ATP website, Friday, this system will be used for the first time at the ATP Tour Masters 1000 Indian Wells Open in Indian Wells, California, United States on March 5-16.

With this technology, referees can review a variety of important decisions, including not-ups, stroke violations, racket or body contact, hindrances, scoring errors, and potential disqualifications.

This innovation is expected to improve the accuracy of referee decisions in matches.

Previously, video review was first introduced on the ATP Tour at the 2018 Next Gen ATP Finals and began to be used at the 2020 Nitto ATP Finals.

The move is part of a major breakthrough in the sport of tennis, following the implementation of the Live Electronic Line Calling system at all ATP tournaments on various court surfaces.

The ATP continues to strive to provide more accurate refereeing standards for the benefit of players and spectators.

Apart from Indian Wells, the ATP 1000 Masters tournaments that will take place this season include the Miami Open, Monte-Carlo Masters, Madrid Open, Italian Open, Canadian Open, Cincinnati Open, Shanghai Masters and Paris Masters.
