Jakarta - The sixth Siap Darling (Environmentally Aware) webseries film in 2025 will continue to feature the comedy mystery genre interspersed with messages about environmental preservation with the background of the Temple area on Java Island.
Bakti Lingkungan Djarum Foundation (BLDF) Manager Officer Dandy Mahendra in Bogor, Tuesday (18/2) revealed that the comedy mystery genre is still being maintained to repeat the success of the previous Siap Darling Webseries entitled "Kami Memohon" which was able to reach 10 million viewers.
"The genre remains a comedy mystery with a little bit of romantic spice so that it can repeat the previous Webseries 'Kami Memohon' which was able to reach 10 million viewers, while the three previous Webseries combined only had 5 million viewers," he said after the implementation of the Digital Literacy Campus at IPB Bogor.
He explained that every web series film produced by BLDF always carries environmental messages with the hope that while enjoying the film, the audience will be unconsciously invited to care about environmental sustainability.
"We make films because we want to convey the message as subtly as possible. So sometimes if we talk about environmental issues in a preachy way, the reception will not be good," he said.
The important thing to attract more viewers is that the talents that will be featured must be able to represent the idols of the millennial and generation Z generations.
"Who is the talent is still being sought with the criteria of being the idol of the millennial generation and generation Z. And the storyline will also carry current environmental issues," he said.
