Jakarta - The Indonesian national basketball team faces a mandatory win in the last two matches of the Group A preliminary round of the 2025 FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers (Windows 3) in order to maintain their hopes of appearing in the Final Qualifying Tournament.
Based on the temporary standings of Group A, Indonesia is in fourth place with a record of 0-4 (0 wins, 4 losses). Australia leads with a perfect record of 4-0, followed by South Korea (2-2), and Thailand (2-2).
With the current competition mechanism, the top two teams will directly qualify for the main round, while the third-placed team will be entitled to appear in the Final Qualifying Tournament to compete for the remaining four tickets.
