Jakarta - The results of a study published in The Journal of Creative Behavior show how anxiety affects creativity and the interesting exchange between the two.
According to a Hindustan Times report on Sunday (9/2), in the study researchers conducted a trial on 647 participants to understand how anxiety affects creativity.
Study participants were divided into two groups based on their anxiety levels and asked to come up with ideas on how to raise large amounts of money quickly in real-world financial scenarios.
In addition, they were asked to imagine how a first date might go.
One group was asked to think of all the ways the date could go well and the other group was asked to imagine all the ways the date could go badly.
Researchers measured the number of ideas participants came up with and how unique or creative those ideas were.
