South Korea expresses interest in hosting the 2031 Asian Cup

    

Jakarta - The competition to host the 2031 Asian Cup is heating up after South Korea announced its willingness to host the continental championship to the Asian Football Confederation (AFC)."The Korea Football Association (KFA) announced on February 28 that it has submitted an 'Expression of Interest to Host' to the Asian Football Confederation for the 2031 AFC Asian Cup," the KFA said in an official statement quoted by Reuters on Friday.Indonesia, Australia, the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait have expressed interest in hosting the Asian Cup in 2031.
