Jakarta - In commemoration of International Childhood Cancer Day, the Ministry of Health launched the National Action Plan for Childhood Cancer (RANKA) 2025-2029 as a strategic step in handling and controlling the disease."This launch is part of the government's commitment to combating childhood cancer, which requires serious attention and is a national priority in efforts to control the disease," said Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin at the launch of the action plan in Jakarta, Thursday.RANKA, said Budi, is part of the National Cancer Plan 2024-2034. Budi said that cancer is the third largest cause of death in Indonesia and is considered a catastrophic non-communicable disease.
