Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto received a report from the National Economic Council (DEN) regarding the impact of US President Donald Trump's administration policies on a number of sectors in Indonesia.
In a meeting held at the Presidential Palace complex in Jakarta on Thursday afternoon, DEN member Septian Hario Seto explained that the discussion focused on the potential impact of the Trump administration's policies on various sectors, especially trade and the economy.
"We from the National Economic Council have just been received by President Prabowo with the main agenda of providing a report and recommendations regarding Indonesia's stance in facing the new Trump administration," Seto told reporters after the meeting.
According to Seto, DEN has studied various aspects of Trump's policies that have the potential to affect Indonesia, including trade tariff policies, immigration policies, and their positive and negative impacts on the national economy.
