Jakarta - Secretary General of the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) dr. Ulul Albab, Sp.OG explained that the appearance of fungus on the skin can be influenced by the body condition of each person, one of which is having diseases such as diabetes and obesity.
According to him, someone with this disease has a moist skin condition which can cause the fungus to spread more quickly.
"Usually for those who have diabetes and obesity, because the moist parts are more. That's why sweets should not be too sweet, because it can also affect the fungus growing there," said dr. Ulul Albab, Sp.OG, in a discussion held in South Jakarta, on Tuesday.
