MPR: Digital understanding needs to be improved to avoid online gambling

Jakarta - Deputy Chairman of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) of the Republic of Indonesia Edhie Baskoro Yudhoyono invited all parties to work together to increase public understanding about the proper use of digital technology in order to avoid the trap of online gambling and illegal online loans.

"We must be wise in using digital services so as not to get trapped in illegal online loans with high interest or online gambling ," said Ibas, Edhie Baskoro's nickname, in a seminar themed "Raise #DigitalAwareness: Fight Online Gambling and Illegal Online Loans , Save the Future of Our Generation!" as quoted in an official press release received by ANTARA in Jakarta, Wednesday.
