Jakarta - The Ministry of Religion has opened training and in-depth study of hisab rukyat or Islamic astronomy which will take place on Monday, February 24, 2025 at the Ministry of Religion Office, Jakarta.
"We invite young people to study astronomy, especially in the rukyat hisab method. The participant quota is limited to only 100 people," said the Director of Islamic Religious Affairs and Sharia Development at the Ministry of Religion, Arsad Hidayat in Jakarta, Friday.
The program called Catch The Moon is intended for mosque youth, Islamic Religious Instructors, students or pupils, young men and women from Islamic mass organizations, as well as astronomy and celestial science activists.
