Jakarta - Secretary of the Directorate General of Metal, Machinery, Transportation Equipment, and Electronics Industry (ILMATE) of the Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) Sopar Halomoan Sirait explained that the growth of the electronics industry sector will be at 6.16 percent in 2024.
"The growth of the electronics industry sector in 2024 is 6.16 percent. This means that it is quite high with the contribution of the electronics industry to national GDP tending to be stable in the last five years," said Sopar in Central Jakarta, Tuesday.
According to him, growth in the electronics sector also reflects the ownership of mobile phones by Indonesian citizens which has reached various levels of society.
